On December 30th 2021 in Accra, Ghana, Afrochella hosted their first ever Fashion Night out and according to Afrochella’s IG it was deemed a huge success.
Bohten was front and center as we were featured as one of their multi-brand pop up shops where fashion goers could try on and shop their favorite Bohten eyewear. We had a few people who stepped up and out in their outfits and when they added the Bohten frames, it was the cherry on top.
This however wasn’t even Bohten’s biggest highlight of the night, as later that evening, Bohten strutted across the runway during the Christie Brown segment! Christie Brown, a luxury fashion brand whose designer Aisha Ayensu “reimagines and interprets traditional artisanal techniques and incorporates them into modern silhouettes”, was one of the top brands to be featured that evening.
The models were elegantly outfitted in the luxury fashion brand’s latest pieces and our Bohten frames easily complimented each of the Christie Brown looks. The success of the night was evident on the crowd’s faces as they were wooed and awed by the designs and creations each Fashion house and brand shared on the evening.

We’d say Afrochella's Fashion Night Out’s mission to “celebrate the thriving fashion scene in Africa and showcase up-and-coming designers from the continent” was definitely accomplished.
