The Fit Story: One Size does not fit all
Share
When two Ghanaian brothers started the Bôhten journey 10 years ago, there was no way they anticipated the path that lay ahead of them. The fact that they would uncover a missing piece to the puzzle in the eyewear industry was a huge eye opener. The fact that it had to do with the black community they were a part of, was no coincidence.
After years of research and development, we are now able to share some insight into what they discovered.
We present to you, The Fit Story…
This piece has been in the making for almost two years and was produced in collaboration with the incredible Ghanaian Illustrator Hanson Akatti. From conception to execution, it is the culmination of countless hours of research, preparation, dedication and determination to see it come to light. Thank you to the team who executed it all.
It is also truly an honor to share this project with you during Black History month. This work sets the tone for what Bôhten and other Black-owned companies are up against in their respective industries. But it also highlights just how much power and importance there is in diversity and catering to unmet demand in our communities.
