Shabba Ranks, one of the most prominent dancehall musicians in reggae history, wooed the world with his catchy tunes and risqué dance moves. But what added to his style was his love for cool specs, like this one, shot in the 80s.
Mr. Loverman's style has transcended time - so much so, that younger artists like A$AP Ferg have been inspired by his aesthetic. One of Ferg's biggest singles, "Shabba," was named after the dancehall legend.
"His kids kinda put [me] on game with the whole A$AP movement," Ferg told MTV in 2013.

Oh, and while you're here, go ahead and relive the first time you heard this classic featured off his 1992 X-tra Naked LP.
Don't try to fight the feeling. Sing along. We won't tell.
