In the Press: Bôhten featured in Travel Noire & Greenmatters
Bôhten was featured in Travel Noire’s list of Black-owned eyewear brands you should try for 2022. Travel Noire is a digital media company that caters to millennials of the African Diaspora and their list hosted 8 other black owned eyewear brands. For Bôhten, they highlighted our mission to “challenge the status quo” and also our efforts to “successfully meet the industry standard with help from some of the world’s top brand developers, engineers and artisans”. Their list hosted a slew of other brands such as AOX, Vontélle Eyewear and Godnii.
Greenmatters, is an online platform that encourages people to “live more sustainably, fight the climate crisis, and learn about environmental justice”.
Bôhten featured in their article about sustainable eyeglasses and sunglasses. They emphasized Bôhten’s efforts to use sustainably harvested materials to make our glasses and highlighted our tree planting programs in both Ghana and Kenya. They shined a light on our variety of styles and materials and the fact that you can order prescriptions through us.
