Share
Glitz Fashion Week took place in Ghana where designers from around the African continent were able to showcase their creativity and designs through photoshoots, seminars, presentations and of course, the runway. The largest fashion week in the country was featured in Italian Vogue in their piece entitled “Sustainable brands: the best talents at Glitz Africa Fashion Week”. The story featured upcoming as well as top designers and sustainable brands that stole the runway for Vogue Italia with ``their unique creativity and tailoring skills in the sustainable collections for spring summer 2022.”
And guess what? Bohten was featured too!
Bohten partnered with upcoming Ghanain Fashion designer Maison Medicor, a talented designer who embodied the theme of ‘Creativity and Sustainability” through her pieces. Medicor adorned each of her models with Bohten frames on the runway which helped to add to the already stunning pieces.
Italian Vogue described Maison Medicor and her designs as “...an art chic collection full of sexy silhouettes and responsibly purchased fabrics. Everything, from A-shaped tea dresses to suits, from dresses to shirts, was embellished with embroidered faces and stylized figures, creating a truly original look for the brand.”Bohten frames were front and centre on the runway at Glitz Fashion week thanks to Maison Medicor. We were extremely happy for the opportunity and can't wait to participate in more collaborations in the future.
Can you spot which Bohten frames made it down the runway at Glitz Fashion Week?
