The HonestGuy and Bôhten: A Juno-Winning Collaboration in Style

We collaborated with Canadian R&B artist The HonestGuy, an award-winning musician, to style his latest outfit for a standout performance in Toronto.

Just days after taking home a Juno Award—Canada’s most prestigious honor for musicians and artists—The HonestGuy lit up the stage at thedrake underground in Toronto. Performing songs from his latest, award-winning album Velvet Soul, along with fan favorites, he captivated a sold-out crowd with his melodic voice, presence, and signature fashion-forward sunglasses.

And speaking of style—Bôhten Eyewear was proud to help craft his stage look. The HonestGuy wore our ever-popular Oju Crystal frames, a standout from our Icon Series. Styled by the talented @antistyledit, he rocked a beige button-down set over a crisp white tee, elevated by the translucent shine of the Oju Crystals and a bold black hat. It was a look that blended soul, sophistication, and star power.

At the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences' Junos, The HonestGuy won Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for Velvet Soul. The album’s smooth, sultry sound brings a vibe to any space—it’s one to keep on repeat.
