Chance focuses his charitable efforts towards his hometown of Chicago, He states that: "We all know the Illinois education system is one of the most underfunded in the nation,"
He launched an NGO called the Social Work which aims to empower Chicago Youth through arts, civil engagement & education. He recently announced he will be donating $1 million dollars to the foundation along with the Chicago Bulls. He commented, "I'm excited to announce the creation, in collaboration with the Children's First Fund, of the New Chance Arts & Literature Fund."
