In the Press: Elle.com & The Pioneer Woman feature Bôhten frames

Bôhten got some great press coverage over the last few months and we wanted to share them with you! First, Bôhten was featured on ThePioneerWoman.com, a website organized by Ree Drummond and her editors that features not only food and lifestyle content, but also home design, beauty and style tips as well as entertainment. 

In one of their latest posts ‘These comfy chic pieces will be your new staple wardrobe’, our Barlae Zebra polarized sunglasses were featured in the list of 10 pieces they highlighted. “These sunnies are made from zebra wood sustainably sourced in West Africa. The style is universally flattering—plus the polarized lenses reduce glare.” is what they shared with the Pioneer woman about our frames.

Elle.com picked up another one of our frames to feature in their summer piece “The sunglasses brands we are shopping (and wearing) this summer” Our Manyara Mahogany Sun polarized frames were on full display, a member of our Duru Family capsule collection.  Elle.com’s fashion editor had this to say “In an industry dominated by acetate or metal frames, it’s always refreshing to see some designers stepping out of the box. Bohten looks to its Ghanaian heritage by implementing natural materials, as with these beautiful wooden frames.”
